TBE se présente

L’argile est l’un des plus anciens matériaux que l’homme ait travaillé. La Fédération Européenne des Fabricants de Tuiles et de Briques (TBE) travaille pour le futur d’une industrie qui se base sur cette matière première.

TBE représente les intérêts de l’industrie européenne des briques et tuiles en faisant un lobbying au niveau des règlementations européennes dans les domaines des politiques industrielles, environnementales, énergétiques, de normalisation et de développement durable. TBE est une plateforme d’échange d’informations entre ses membres sur des questions de développement technologique, de production respectueuse de l’environnement et de technologies émergeantes.

TBE est un organe-membre de Cérame-Unie, le bureau de liaison de l’industrie céramique européenne. Son secrétariat est situé au siège de Cérame-Unie à Bruxelles. Pour plus d’information, consultez le site www.cerameunie.net

TBE regroupe 25 associations membres situées dans 18 états européens, en Bulgarie, en Serbie, en Suisse et en Norvège ; en 2003, le secteur représentait 50 000 travailleurs, et son chiffre d’affaires était estimé à 7 milliards d’euros.
