European clay brick and tile industry meets in Switzerland

Some 80 brick and tile entrepreneurs and representatives of European national associations met in Lucerne for this year‘s TBE Congress on the 23rd and 24th of June. The annual meeting was hosted by the Swiss Brick and Tile Association, swissbrick.ch. The Swiss delegation included an especially large number of brick and tile producers, as they happened to be holding their own general meeting there on Thursday, June 23, in parallel with the TBE program.

Well-attended product group meetings

The representatives of the various product groups (Masonry Product Group, TBE Joint Environmental and Technical Working Group and TBE Roofing Tiles Product Group) came together for their respective meetings on Thursday, June 23. Many of the members took advantage of the opportunity to drop in on the other group meetings in order to gain as comprehensive an overview as possible of the past year‘s activities.

Then, blessed with great weather, all members convened on the picturesque shore of Lake Lucerne for an evening of cocktails and a gala dinner. TBE...
