In 2010,
the Belgian company Dumoulin contracted Sabo S.A. with the construction of a
new plant. The plant was equipped with the latest technology and designed to
produce 550 t hollow clay blocks and bricks per day. The plant was completed by
the Sabo team, who met all the standards and requirements.

Introduction
The project
entailed many special requirements regarding the design and construction as the
plant was intended to produce a wide range of products: from facing bricks with
chamfering to backing bricks with small, medium and large dimensions.

On account
of the variety of products to be produced and the need to comply with high
quality standards, two cutters were installed: one for the production of
medium- and large-size wall blocks, and one used to produce small wall blocks
