Two-stage reduction swing hammer mill from Stedman

Technical News

The Stedman company in Aurora (Indiana), USA manufactures a 2-stage reduction swing hammer mill for the pulverization, crushing and disintegration of processing byproducts, wood, minerals, garbage, aggregate materials and more at a lower cost per ton.
The material entering the unit is disintegrated by the revolving hammers and further reduced by the force of impact against the heavy breaker plates in the cover. Very little sizing of reduced materials is needed later.
Different types of hammers are available for this hammer mill, whereby the choice depends on the type of material being reduced. Many of the hammers are reversible and offer four wearing surfaces to increase service life and to help lower operational costs.
