Recent legislative changes and their consequences for the licensing of raw material extraction

Recent years have seen the very dynamic development of legislation in fields with direct relevance to licensing procedures in the clay brick and tile industry and the non-metallic minerals industry. Changes have been made particularly concerning mining licensing, environmental impact assessments, strategic environmental assessments, biodiversity conservation assessments and nature intervention regulations and their flexibilization. This paper presents some recent legislative changes and their consequences for operational planning
