The Nova III roof tile press with eccentric cam sets new standards for the production of sophisticated large-area tiles

Händle presented their latest technical development to a select circle of customers in November 2017.
According to Managing Director Gerhard Fischer, Nova III not only marks the beginning of a new era for 400-ton presses, it also sets new standards for the economical, flexible production of standard and large-format roof tiles, tiles of complex geometry and thin-walled products.

Roof tile producers from all over Europe were there to see Manfred Bracht, managing director of Nelskamp‘s roof tile manufacturing plants, push the button at the formal commissioning ceremony. Arriving at the Nelskamp roof tile plant in Groß Ammensleben near Magdeburg in time to close out the year 2017, the new machine replaces a pair of 2-field eccentric presses dating from 1996.

In addition to enjoying the new pressing system‘s introduction and presentation by Gerhard Fischer and Thomas Wagner, manager business unit machinery and equipment, the attending customers were quite impressed by Händle’s extraordinary operational effectiveness on a tour of the company‘s engineering and production facility in Mühlacker.

In his words of welcome, Gerhard Fischer assured his audience: “We are sure that Nova III is going to be a big hit, because we designed it to specifically satisfy our customers‘ present and future needs.“
