Creaton AG Facade brick plant sold

The facade brickworks at the Weroth location will be sold to a private investor on 20 December 2017. That informed the operating Creaton AG yesterday in a message.

The Creaton AG concentrates even more on the pitched roof and separate from the business unit facade, it says in the message. The production and distribution of facade products made of clay under the brand name "Tonality" would be handed over to the company "LFK startup Consulting UG".

With the sale to the private investor all employees could be taken over at the location Weroth, promises the AG. The employees were already informed about this at a company meeting.

The new shareholders Farroukh Sabok Rouh and Siavash Mohammadi Djamali are no strangers to the company. Farroukh Sabok Rouh has been an export partner for Creaton AG in the Middle East for twelve years. "He has extensive and specific product and technical knowledge with in-depth regional market experience," the statement said.

Creaton is according to own data one of the leading umbrella brands of Europe. The company belongs to the Belgian Etex Group. With 14 production sites and more than 2,000 employees, the group produces and distributes clay roof tiles, concrete roof tiles, corrugated sheets and small-format fiber cement roof and facade panels throughout Central and Eastern Europe. The acquiring LFK startup Consulting UG will be converted before the handover into the new Tonality GmbH.
