TBE Annual General Assembly in Cyprus, 29-30 September 2011

After a very successful annual event in Vienna in 2010, we now head South towards the sunny shores of Cyprus. The national brick and roof tile association only recently joined TBE but provided great support in our lobby action on CO2 emission trading. Its members now invite us to come and work under the Eastern Mediterranean sun on 29 and 30 September in a superb hotel.

Exclusive to residents, the luxurious Le Méridien Limassol Spa and Resort is situated in 100 000 m2 of landscaped gardens and is Cyprus's only five-star international chain hotel situated on the beach with close proximity to the Amathus archeological site and the city of Limassol.

Participants will arrive on Wednesday late afternoon and come together by the pool for an informal din-ner. The format has somewhat been altered with the Executive Committee members gathering on Thurs-day morning and with the General Assembly in the afternoon. The day will close with an optional tour of a brick factory and a traditional meze night. There will also be a social program and on Thursday we will offer a day out in Nicosia, Cyprus Capital.

Friday will be the day for the technical meetings of our masonry and roof tile experts groups. These will run in parallel and come together for lunch.
