Creaton Hungary operates at full capacity in 2010; revenue climbs

Tile maker Creaton Hungary, a member of Belgium's Etex group, had revenue of HUF 6.5 billion in 2010, up HUF 200 million from a year earlier, the company told MTI.

Creaton Hungary's two plants in Lenti operated at full capacity last year, turning out 3m square meters of roof tiles.

Creaton Hungary is spending HUF 200 million on a turbine powered by heat from its kiln. The turbine will generate 1GW of electricity. Creaton Hungary already uses heat from the kiln to dry freshly pressed tiles.
